Trish was hired by the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board in 1999. She worked as a supply teacher for several years while completing her PhD (2001) in Health Studies at the University of Waterloo. Trish was hired into her current role in 2002 where she assisted with the development and implementation of the Evidence-Based Education and Services Team (E-BEST) which is the research service for the school board.
